(Obsolete and not available anymore) IET80C31 - An 8031 based development board with ethernet connectivity
The processor ticks at 14,74560 MHz. You also have a full 62Kbyte of application RAM to play around with as the debugger monitor only occupies 2 KByte of EPROM and the ethernet controller occupies 16bytes. All memory mapping is done in a reprogrammable PLD device so that you can later on make your own memory map should you want to. If you need more speed we are proud to inform you that the board have been tested with a Dallas/Maxim DS80C310/320 which will give you a performance boost of about 3 times that of a standard 80C32. The kit comes in three different versions (see order information). All kits comes with the uC51 toolchain which is a comprehensive suite of tools for the 8051 micro contollers. Read more about it here. On the companion CD-ROM we have included both source code and a executable version of a web server and a SMTP client that can be used as a skeleton for your own projects. It is based on the TCP/IP stack found in the uC51 compiler toolchain.
